The Challenge
As an independent sound engineer, I needed to prove versatility across genres while building a reputation in Atlanta's competitive music scene. Artists needed someone who could deliver industry-quality mixes without the traditional studio friction.
My Approach
I immersed myself in every genre—soft R&B, hard-hitting hip-hop, everything in between—learning the sonic signatures that make each style connect. Using industry-standard plugins (Waves, FabFilter, Antares, Melodyne) in FL Studio, I developed a mixing process that enhances each artist's unique sound rather than imposing a template.
